Shadow President starts you in June of 1990, just before the fall of the Berlin Wall, and not long before the collapse of the Soviet Union.

How will you run the country and influence the world? This simulator recreates events that have led up to the current state the world is in today, but gives you the opportunity to change future for the better-or worse. As Commander-in-Chief, you are responsible for foreign and domestic policy, and your ultimate goal is world peace and prosperity. Shadow President gives you the chance to be the President of the United States. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be the president? Being America's president is more than just public appearances it involves a lot of pressure and stress, and is often considered the most difficult job in the modern world. Maybe he was on a trip visiting world leaders, holding a press conference, or making a speech about some national or world event. If you have ever watched the news, you probably saw a report involving a president of the United States. This game is one of the unique politics games ever made. You start the game but being elected as the new US President, your tasks take place in many issues like resolving crisis, avoiding wars in conflict zones, sending aids (military, technology and social for example) and having a good approval rating by the US population. In the end, however, it all comes back to the President himself and the player holds future of his presidency, and the future of the whole world, in his mouse-hand.Ī game about World Government, Politics, Control and Cause and Effect. How will the President respond? Economic sanctions? A covert assault? An all out nuclear attack? Several advisors (many of whom bear a striking resemblance to members of the elder George Bush's cabinet) are at the player's disposal, always ready with advice and opinions.
Iraq is just beginning to muscle in on Kuwait. The game is set in 1990 and the player must deal with events relating to that time in the beginning of the simulation. Through an interactive world map and simple point-and-click control screen, the player gains access to a rich reticulation of statistics and conditions which determine the status and current situation of every country in the world.
Taking on the role of the United State's highest elected official, the player becomes responsible for nearly all aspects of governance, domestic and across the globe. Shadow President puts the player in the hot seat - behind the desk at the Oval Office.
